Needs editing

This story could have held my interest more if it hadn’t gotten so hung up in areas where characters spoke in circles. Made me feel as if the author was deliberately trying to extend the length of the book. The narrator, whom I usually enjoy and have purchased certain audiobooks simply to hear his voice, had quite a few stumbles through this one. He had huge long pauses where none should have been and shifted unexpectedly to parts that should have been given a bit. Overall the story isn’t bad but the lead character comes off as extremely naive and frustratingly dim at times.
