I can't say they didn't warn me. Right now, I realize: I probably should have listened. Because if there's anyone who has no business playing a sport that requires a helmet, pads, and a liability waiver, it's this girl. The same girl who once knocked herself out during a game of backyard baseball. I stepped up to the plate, pulled the bat back a little too far to swing, and clocked myself in the back of the skull. Boom. Lights Out Lucy. That's how I got my roller derby name. So yeah. Maybe I should have known better.

Delightful!
Amanda is a wedding planner who's been asked to plan the wedding of her friend, Rachel, and William, her lifelong crush. As you might imagine, it's proving to be a little difficult because she'd rather have William for herself. Dex Richardson is a wonderful neighbor who has been helping her out for three years. He's who she goes to when she needs help around the house, a shoulder to cry on or even a "date" when needed. It's obvious how much he cares about her and perhaps it's a matter of time before she sees him for who he is right in front of her. It's a sweet story with just a hint of angst when the wedding is almost derailed. The author, Giselle Lumas, beautifully narrates her story. Her voice is clear and well-modulated, delivered at a perfect pace and with the right amount of emotion to bring the story alive.

loved it
Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

Clean romance
Read by the author who did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. The h is hired to be the wedding planner for her longtime crush. she cries on her best friend and neighbor's shoulder. She learns that everything is not always what it seems and that the love of her life has been beside her all this time.
