Short and steamy

This was a good short and steamy story but I felt it could have been better. Maybe if it was a little longer you would feel a stronger connection between the characters.

Ends with a Twist

Great short listen equally divided between steamy bits and story to balance it out. Agreeing to go on a blind date, Bailey finds herself instantly attracted to her date, Jaxon, who is a bit of an enigma. The date gets off to a bit of a funny and rocky start, but ends well. Then she meets Levi, who sweeps in and complicates matters even more. Torn between her developing affections for both guys, and with the leadership of the clan depending on her choice, Bailey finds herself in an impossible situation. You'll never see the ending coming but it couldn't be a better way to solve the dilemma.
The narrator brought the story to life and did a great job with both the male and female character voices.

Good story

I really enjoyed this story. Jaxon and Levi are bear shifters and rivals for leadership. They meet Bailey and the three of them have a strong attraction to each other. Really liked the twist ending also. The narrator did a good job with the characters.

Why

I previously read book 3 in the series so I'm very biased. Levi is an evil manipulative weakling. Jasmine is a gem. I didn't like Bailey's decision AT ALL. Pick again. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

Accept your new reality

This was a shifter / fated mates / enemy's to lovers / love triangle with some MM tossed in the way. This is also clearly set in a world where humans just know about shifters, so don't expect back story or surprise on that standpoint. This is a nice short listen with a pleasant twist at the end and a HEA for all. I'll be coming back to explore more in this series.

Good MMF paranormal short story

This is my first book by Kayci Morgan as well as my first time listening to Gary Bennett. This was a short but enjoyable MMF paranormal romance. As this was originally written as a Kindle Worlds book, there isn't a whole lot of world-building or explaining of shifter/human dynamics. That wasn't any kind of hindrance to enjoying the story. Human Bailey finds herself in the middle of a pack rivalry between Bear-shifters Jaxon and Levi. I'll admit I had a bit of trouble connecting with Levi's original treatment of Bailey and her attraction in spite of it, but I found myself invested in all three of the characters. There are well-written MF, MM, & MMF scenes that accentuate the plot. We're introduced to characters who will appear in subsequent books.

Gary Bennett has an intimate/cozy voice that was an excellent fit for the alternating POVs of our three MCs. He did a good job with male & female voices as well as a wide range of emotions. I'm looking forward to listening to him in the rest of the series.

Good Story

This was a nice love story between 3 people.. and it surprises me, and a nice surprise, how giving the men are in these stories, even when their rivals are involved with the same woman... This also had some pretty hot moments in it as well .

Excellent shifter book

Such a great shifter book. Lots of action and adventure, overcoming issues and lots of lovin’. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three main characters. Excellent narration from Gary.
