When Asmodeus meets Kai along a deserted section of highway in Magic Valley, it's more than the ring she wears that catches his eye. He plans to woo the ring out from under her but before long, the lines between lust and love blur. When the other members of the brotherhood realize Asmodeus has found the ring, they descend on Bliss, determined to get the ring from Kai at any cost. When Asmodeus is faced with choosing between the brotherhood and his one true love, he realizes the battle for Hell is nothing compared to the battle for her heart.

I loved this book! It caught my interest quickly and I listened to it every chance I got. Kai is so strong! I can't imagine not knowing what I was and being trusted into a world I knew nothing about. Asmodeus was just hot! I loved how Kai was able to get to him! I can't wait for Lucifer's story to come out!

Demons, Magic, and Romance!

I really enjoyed the premise for this one! Kai finds out that magic and the supernatural is real, and she has connection to the Fae and the witches. Kai finds a magical ring that can rule the demons of Hell, which is causing problems for her right away. There's some demons that aren't happy about it, and there's some others that are out to steal it. Asmodeus, the demon of lust, is one of the demons tasked with finding the ring, but when he meets Kai, he feels protective of her. Loved the magical elements, and I loved how the story plays out. I do wish there was more in the ending though. There's some fun and adventure, and I really liked the characters. Kai is sassy and capable, and I loved how she stands up for herself. Asmodeus is a sweetheart most times, but does have his jerk moments. He's usually trying to do what he thinks is right though. He keeps trying to push Kai away, and I really hated how much it seemed like Kai was throwing herself at Asmodeus when he kept rejecting her. His rejection was coming from a good place, but she didn't know that. It would've been better for Asmodeus to have to win back her affections more. I still think they are really cute together, and the chemistry between them. I listened to the audio and the narrator does a good job. She wasn't my favorite, but I'd still recommend it. It seems like there may be more books in this series which I would like to read. The other characters were kind of jerks though, so hopefully they stop that and grow up. I've enjoyed every Sara Humphreys' book I've read, so I'd recommend her books.

Entertaining Paranormal Romance

I enjoyed this story very much! Kai was a great main character and I laughed out loud at some of the things she thought or said. The sexual tension between her and Asmodeus was strong and you just couldn't help but root for them to get together. Tatiana Sokolov narrated this flawlessly. I can't wait for another story in this series!

Lots of action and I never once was bored

surprised . great story & exciting characters.

tbt, I listened to this book because the title intrigued me. It was a delightful surprise to find the story line didn't bore me. the main characters were likeable despite of Asmodeus being a demon. the story was of medium pace but kept me excited enough to just be close to the edge of my seat. the narrator did a very good job of bringing the main and sub characters to life which were a lot of them , without overwhelming the story.
