Award-winning actress Drew Barrymore shares funny, insightful, and profound stories from her past and present told from the place of happiness she's achieved today.
Wildflower is a portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges, and incredible experiences of her earlier years. It includes tales of living on her own at 14 (and how laundry may have saved her life), getting stuck in a gas station overhang on a cross-country road trip, saying good-bye to her father in a way only he could have understood, and many more adventures and lessons that have led her to the successful, happy, and healthy place she is today. It is the first book Drew has written about her life since the age of 14.

Intriguing snippets from Drew's life. She has blossomed into a beautiful person inside and out. This audio has way too much screaming. It ruined the audio experience.
OMW absolutely brilliant! Couldn't stop listening. Fell in love With Drew and so many moments I could relate too. Laughed hard and cried hard! Having Drew narrate made it even more special. So animated in her ways and the elaborate descriptions of each moment made me feel like I was right there experiencing it with her. Heartbroken when my book came to an end...
This probably would have been enjoyable without the many unexpected screams, which I found unsettling. My listening is usually at bedtime. Not a relaxing addition, although the story is well told.
I would not, Drew is very fond of screaming and does it A L-O-T. It may well put you off finishing the book at all. Also the books jumps time periods making its a little scatterbrained and hard to follow.
Constant, infuriating screams. I wish I had read this instead of suffering through the screaming.
Someone needs to edit this and REMOVE the screaming. It is NOT funny, it is NOT charming and it adds NOTHING to the book.
I love Drew Barrymore, but this was awful. The screaming and ranting was unbearable. She should never narrate another book. Sorry Drew.
Only if she didn't narrate the book herself.
I really wanted to love this book. The stories were pretty interesting, but I had to stop listening because of Drew's narration. I found myself wincing in the car at 6:00am...this is not how I want to start my day.
I will probably get the Kindle version of the book so I can finish the stories. But listening to the rest of it is out of the question.
