This is NOT the book

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Absolutely NO ONE! What a waste of my credit. Please do not purchase this audio book expecting to hear someone actually reading Harper Lee's book To Kill A Mockingbird. It is a AWFUL discussion between some uninteresting people that will only serve to annoy anyone with functioning ears.

Wanted to hear the book

so I agree with those that have reviewed before me. I was hoping to hear the book during my commute and got a literature lesson. it was waste of my first credit and left a bad impression.

Pretty disappointed

I listened to the commentary wondering when they were going to read the book and they never did. they just talked about it.

I misunderstood the content

What would have made Thalia Book Club: Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird 50th Anniversary Celebration better?

I did not realize this was a DISCUSSION of the book and not the book itself, and the book was what I was looking for. The book is excellent--I read it years ago, so was disappointed not to get the book itself. The audio was not good--extremely disappointing!

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Wonderful 50th Anniversary Celebration, and Q&A at the end. The Narrators were all great. Highly recommended. Read the book!

Thought it was the book.

What disappointed you about Thalia Book Club: Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird 50th Anniversary Celebration?

I thought it was a reading of the book. Wish you carried the actual TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD audible book being read.

What was most disappointing about Symphony Space’s story?

Just a discussion of the book.

What didn’t you like about the narrators’s performance?

A discussion of the book and not actual reading of the story.

What character would you cut from Thalia Book Club: Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird 50th Anniversary Celebration?

I just want one person to read the story as Harper Lee wrote it.

This is not To Kill a Mockingbird!

When you listen to the review you can hear them reading the story. However, it is not the book but rather a bunch of blowhards discussing the book.

This is Deceiving- It is not the audio of the book

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The sample excerpt is the story being read. That is not what this is. It is people discussing the story with short excerts being read.
