laugh til you cry

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you want lighthearted clean humor and intelligent wit, this is the audible book for you.

Who was your favorite character and why?

No one besides Ellen herself could perform this book. Her timing in delivery was impeccable.

Which character – as performed by Ellen DeGeneres – was your favorite?

Since she played herself throughout the book with charismatic finesse, there's really no way to answer who your favorite character is. Unless you break it down to Ellen at home, Ellen in public, etc. Her view on life and every day happenstance that occurs in everyone's life, will make you laugh in spite of yourself.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Seriously...I'm Kidding...No Really

My mother and I listened to this together on a rare and enjoyable extended visit. I don't think either of us have laughed so much during one sitting since she blamed a loud fart on me at a restraunt when I was in high school. Ah, but there's a story for another time... enjoy!

Seriously- hold a thought!

I love Ellen, I really do, so I was excited to download this book. I was mostly disappointed. Ellen is hysterical, you can't help but laugh at the way she tells a story. The problem I have with the book is she goes too far off track with her tangents. Sometimes its hard to follow where she takes the audience. If you love Ellen- this is a must have book, if you're looking for a well written book, keep looking.

Rambling woman

Only if they were really bored. Bought it to listen to while driving. I laughed a little but she went off on a few tangents that (sorry) weren't really that funny

not really. Just watch her show on tv

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

She is so funny and I love her but there were a few chapters that were just her rambling and not where I was laughing just getting annoyed. I actually skipped to the next chapter a few times.

Seriously, just listen to it!

This book has brought my spirits up, over and over. It is my go-to whenever I'm having a bad day. Or actually, just whenever! I encourage everyone to give it a listen and enjoy boisterous laughing! Thank you, Ellen!

I believe Ellen is really at her best in this book, it's funny, it's sharp and her narrative is really amazing.

Ellen takes us to a lot of her everyday activities and we find out that she's just a human being living at her fullest just like most of us.

The performance by the author is just what this books needs, it's hilarious without falling into plain comedy.

I loved this book. Of course,she made me feel good when I felt bad. When I felt good,she made me feel great!! Why? you might ask,because if the laughter she caused😂🤗

Yes. Because the stand up skills of DeGeneres add to the humor.
