"I've experienced a whole lot the last few years, and I have a lot to share. So I hope that you'll take a moment to sit back, relax, and enjoy the words I've put together for you in this book. I think you'll find I've left no stone unturned, no door unopened, no window unbroken, no rug unvacuumed, no ivories untickled. What I'm saying is, let us begin, shall we?"

I am an Ellen fan but I must tell the truth. This was a miss! I could repeat what many others have shared. Disjointed, lacks poignancy it felt like a rambling of thoughts. Sorry Ellen I love so much of what you do and put out in the universe but this audio book didn't deliver what I anticipated.
That was SUCH a pleasant surprise! I'm on a roll with bios & memoirs and stumbled on this little gem. I fully plan on playing this one in the car next while my kids are with me. I laughed the whole way through which felt so good, thank you Ellen!!
This is my first Ellen DeGeneres book. I guess I expected more because I find her so funny on tv. I thought there would be more personal stuff and it wasn't. It was a book form of He's standup and it doesn't translate the same.
No, I really don't think I would. It was just too boring.
It wasn't a story! It's really just a lot of "stream of thought." It reminded me of listening to a 3 year old telling a story. It was all over the place but yet it all amounts to nothing really.
I love her show and her personality. Book writing is not her thing! I'll stick to her show.
Boredom and disappointment.
It's just not good. Don't waste your time. I made it as long as I could which was about two hours...
I love Ellen--I watch her, I follow her on instagram--this book wasn't a book. It was a collection of rambings--like I was listening to Dory tell her life story.
Really enjoyed this, Ellen is a favourite of mine, but im not one for autobiographies or anything like this normally but as it was ellen thought id give it a listen and am so glad I did. I enjoyed this book very much, made me laugh out loud and was very interesting and can honestly say loved it from start to finish well worth a listen and with Ellen reading it makes it even better.
"I think written for a US audience"
sorry. disappointed. didn't laugh once. dozed off a few times and missed some chapters. learned she is also Danielle Steele and never dozed during those...
normally I love Ellen but this was pure tripe. I want my money back please. seriously. ... not kidding
