Publisher's summary

"Euan Morton returns to narrate the final installment in the Simon Snow series. Morton's exceptional talent shines as he modulates between European and American accents and seamlessly shifts tones to bring each distinct character to life...Full of intense passion, this conclusion should not be missed." -AudioFile Magazine, Earphones Award winner

New York Times bestselling author Rainbow Rowell's epic fantasy, the Simon Snow trilogy, concludes with Any Way the Wind Blows.

In Carry On, Simon Snow and his friends realized that everything they thought they understood about the world might be wrong. And in Wayward Son, they wondered whether everything they understood about themselves might be wrong.

In Any Way the Wind Blows, Simon and Baz and Penelope and Agatha have to decide how to move forward.

For Simon, that means deciding whether he still wants to be part of the World of Mages — and if he doesn't, what does that mean for his relationship with Baz? Meanwhile Baz is bouncing between two family crises and not finding any time to talk to anyone about his newfound vampire knowledge. Penelope would love to help, but she's smuggled an American Normal into London, and now she isn't sure what to do with him. And Agatha? Well, Agatha Wellbelove has had enough.

Any Way the Wind Blows takes the gang back to England, back to Watford, and back to their families for their longest and most emotionally wrenching adventure yet.

This audiobook is a finale. It tells secrets and answers questions and lays ghosts to rest.

Carry On was conceived as a book about Chosen One stories; Any Way the Wind Blows is an ending about endings. About catharsis and closure, and how we choose to move on from the traumas and triumphs that try to define us.

Good, but….

This is not a bad book. But this IS a terrible book for a trilogy. Since this is the 3rd book, this is the “ending,” and there are to many unanswered questions to conclude this as a trilogy.
If this was a serious, and there would be a 4th book answering all the unknowns, I would give this book a 4. But this is a poor ending to a trilogy.
The narrator was great however.

I am so sad to see it end

I adored this series. I loved the characters, the story, the realistic ups and downs. I will absolutely be listening to it again in the future. 10/10

Could not be more satisfied with this book

All storylines are engaging in different and spectacular ways. The narration is the best, the voices Euan does are prize-worthy. The splendid words are brought to life.

Nice Finish to the Trilogy

I like the characters in these stories.
Even though there is a gay theme it is mild and not abrasive.

One of the best endings to a trilogy ever

I'm always worried about the third book in a trilogy. I couldn't have been happier with this one! I loved the way Rowell has handled post-traumatic stress and mental health in this series and I'm just really pleased at the way she's wrapped it all up (for now! Fingers crossed that she revisits the characters). I don't want to give too much away so I'll just say it's well worth your time and your Audible credit. Plus, the narrator does a fantastic job with a rather challenging book. I'm so glad the producers chose to use one narrator for all the different voices rather than an ensemble recording. It really helps with continuity and Morton does such a good job.

I absolutely loved this.

This was a realistically, beautifully done finale for the trilogy. I also have seen some reviews talking about gratuitous sex scenes and no, that's not really an issue imo. There's no graphic descriptions of penetrative sex so... Idk. Maybe I'm desensitized? lol
And I actually really loved Agatha's ending. She deserves peace and quiet and an understanding partner.
