The story my heart needed!

This book was brilliantly performed and produced, with vibrant characters and a story that my heart needed! I found myself smiling, crying, and so engaged in the lives of these characters that I had to listen a second time when it was finished. It's my new favorite rom-com, and I can't recommend it enough!

All pluses, from the story, to the pace, to the narrator, musical score, and everything else! Recommend highly.

Romantic, lyrical, heartbreaking and heartwarming

I have listened to hundreds of gay romances in the past several years, and this ranks among the top five. Amazing narration. Deep, human, and believable characters. Luscious and sensual prose that often reaches the poetic. Reminded me of On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous and NOT just because the characters are Asian. Because listening to the book is like falling in love, over and over and over. Outstanding!

Beautiful Storytelling

I can guarantee this read is far better as an audio book than a traditional read simply because Aaron J. Albano brings all of it to life so beautifully. His character voices and his singing vocals bring the reader along on this journey where you become invested in the characters. Some of it may be a little predictable but the glimpse into Filipino culture, the romantic storyline, colorful characters and the life experiences in here make it a wonderful read.

Such a beautiful, joyful story - and one of the best audiobooks I've ever heard!

Most enjoyable audio performance and lovely story

I throughout enjoyed the narrator performance. He brought the story and the characters to live and made listening enjoyable and almost addictive. The music parts were great too.
I really enjoyed the story too loving most characters dearly. I struggled at times a little with Quito’s repetitive self pity but the performance managed to keep me pulled in. The other characters were so likeable and fun.
Recommend this full heartedly.

Great book and a very good narrator to boot. This is a great summer read.

A perfect debut

All the Right Notes is a perfect second chance romance as we get to see Quito and Emmett’s first try and romance in the past and their second attempt in the present. I loved the book the first time I read the text and loved it even more listening to it. My favorite book of 2023 so far.

The narration is so charming

I loved the story even though it was super simple and rather predictable. It was fun, lighthearted at parts and then very emotional in others.

This Book Hit All The Right Notes With Me

I love this book! I was fortunate enough to live close enough to where the book launch occurred in Pinole, California, and attended. In his debut novel, Dominic Lim not only entertained people with his characters and plot in this queer Asian RomCom, but he also entertained them with a song he wrote and sang! This is an enjoyable listen for Pride or any time at all. I highly recommend it.
