Now THIS is the way to write a suspense novel! Not a boring moment, the plot is something I've never experienced before and I loved it.

What I’ve been looking for

I listen to a few books a month. It’s a starting to get repetitive. This book gave me that exciting feeling I had in the beginning where I couldn’t wait to drive anywhere and listen to my book. Great narration and story.

Absolutely loved the story! It really had me listening intently and kept me very engaged throughout the entire book. But just as important as the writing, the narration was beyond fabulous! Katie Villa should win an award for her portrayal of Vivian.

Katie Villa dazzles

The story is fine but what alone makes this worth a listen is Katie Villa's amazing performance. I have been a fan of hers for a long time but here she outperforms herself, with the way she brings the different characters, of different ages, to life. An absolute tour-de-force performance. Brava!

Good book, dark story!

Very good book. Narration was excellent. I would highly recommend this one. Well worth a credit, in my opinion.

Decent storyline

Storyline was good. just ok twist with an ok ending....nothing that couldn't be figured out mid way thru the book.

FIFTEEN ??? Holy $h*t !!!

I am giving this story 4 stars, because it definitely held my attention. I wanted to give it 5, but the age of the girls in this story being 15 almost ruined it for me ! I almost gave it 3 stars instead of 4 for that reason alone. No spoilers, but... 15 ??? Ugh!
Also, although it held my interest, I wasn't at all surprised by the ending as so many other reviewers stated. Dark story, but quite predictable.

I would definitely read more by this author. Thoroughly enjoyed this book . lots of twists and turns that I look for in a domestic thriller. Enjoy!
