Publisher's summary

That smoking one-night stand with the sexy mountain man? Turns out it's more than just a hot hook-up. Now, I'm carrying his baby.

Aidan Anderson. Billionaire. Head of Anderson Development. I thought I had it all. The perfect life. But when the unthinkable happened, I became a broken man. Isolation and solitude were all I craved. I retreated to my mountain overlooking the small town of Ashton Mill. There, I met Katie. Her plump lips and gentle curves made me feel whole again. And reawakened my protective instincts.

When she shows up at my fortress, her full curves almost make me forget that she's in danger. A stalker is hunting her, and he wants to take her from me. But, I won't let that happen. History is not going to repeat itself this holiday. Not on my watch.

I'll protect Katie and our baby. And I'll destroy anyone that stands in my way!

Meh

I finished listening to it, but it became harder and harder as the quality of the audio decreased. I don't know if it was just me but there was almost a background noise on the female of swallowing which was crying. the male had a couple areas where it overlapped the audio.
Story wise, this is the few times where I truly found a FMC was an idiot throughout the story. Basis of the story was good, but the writing needs work.

Not nearly as good as I thought it would be.

This book had a few good moments but over all I was disappointed in it. I feel this book would have been much better had it not had so much inner monologue. Also as an independent single mother of 3 I know while being pregnant even the first time you have an overwhelming need to protect your child and I feel the heroine rarely thought about the protection of her unborn child yet so much worry about a man who is supposed to be trained in matrial arts and to me it doesn't make sense. For a woman who is said to be so smart multiple times in the book she acts like a complete idiot more than once. I'm just really disappointed over all with this book. I also think the female narrator should have been different the person. She seemed to be a very slow reader not that I think she should have rushed it but she made the females point of view drag on for what felt like forever and really killed the book even more for me.
