The story jumps around alot the first two books were about Aliens and the research done on them now its just dinosaurs brought to life kinda and a nazi experiment but otherwise max is a bad mother F'er

Yesss! I love books like this!
This books reminds me of The Dragon Factory in the Joe Ledger series, i love love LOVE these science experiment books, and this book was no different! I havent read one that dealt with these kinds of test subjects before, so it was very interesting to me!

Why does sex have to be in EVERYTHING?
For once, I'd like to be able to listen to a good book without listening to hard-core porn!
This is a book about a guy trying to avenge his family, that has to build a team in order to go on a mission in exchange for a lead, sex, taking on genetically modified dinosaurs. He kills a bunch of bad guys, uncovers yet another sick government cover up, and then finds out that one of his team has more backstory than he thought. Why this needs a sex scene and innuendo throughout, is beyond me.

Good Book But
I enjoyed the book but I miss the alien story. The Nazis and dinosaur side was not as good as I would have thought.

only issue is chapter 6. 8:46, they mentioned Max with silenced glock in sports jacket he wore a .22 LONG RIFLE holstered at his ankle.
not sure i understood, but a "long rifle"

good but not excellent
I have listened to the other 2 crucible books and found this one to be good but my least favorite. I have loved Max Ahlgrens character and realistic action and believable characters in the other two books but the female reporter "Heat " in this book was just odd unbelievable and unnatural in the book. I just felt like she was written in to allow a female interest and sex scene. It is worth reading nonetheless but I hope this doesn't continue.
