Publisher's summary

Christine Sheridan faces the life she never knew she wanted: one of motherhood, companionship, and everlasting love on Martha’s Vineyard. She just never imagined there’d be such heartache along the way.

Audrey gives birth at the end of February. Although she’s young, healthy, one of the most vibrant people on the Vineyard, the birth is a troubling one—and the baby’s health is cast into doubt.

This adds even more stress to an already stressful situation. After all: Christine planned to help Audrey raise her baby, to allow her to return to school and get the degree she so desperately wants. As Christine, Audrey, Lola, and Zach wade the waters of this delicate new family plan, and grapple with the fears surrounding a very sick baby, they find new strength together.

Join Amanda, Susan, Lola, Christine, and Audrey as they move forward in life, in love, in family, and in friendship. Nothing is ever as it seems or as they planned. But maybe that’s never a bad thing. It’s just how time goes on the Vineyard.

Babies are always a blessing!

Oh my the ending. I am proof it can happen! Read the book to find out what I am talking about.

This book was a tad heavier due to the birth complications but again proves when you have the right support around you you can overcome anything. Make your tribe with those who love and support you and don’t tear you down.

Love spending time with the Sheridan Family

This is the 7th book in the Vineyard Sunset series and I recommend you read or listen to them in order. In this book there are break ups, new loves, family situations and continued growth. I enjoy spending time with this family as it is realistic and somewhat relatable. The characters are all wonderful with their own personal issues, but family is everything. They say your can't go home again, but in this series. they all do. The narration by Erin Bennett was wonderful. She has a pleasant voice to listen to and although she doesn't necessarily give each character their own voice, it is obvious whose POV it is. Her tone and expression add to the enjoyment of the book.
