Interesting Short Story!
Very interesting story, wish it was longer and we got to see what happened with Mara. The narrators voices were great and fit the ages of the characters.

Confusing ending
I lived the narrator and story, but when it ended I did not know what had happened. “I don’t get it,” my friend said, after listening with me. “Me neither!” I agreed. Nevertheless, I love this author in novel length books.

Great read!
All is not what it seems at the outset of this terrific short story. I was at the edge of my proverbial set waiting to see what would happen next and did not the ending coming. Can’t wait to read more from this wonderful author.

Novella
This novella is great, my only complaint was the ending. But the more I think about it maybe this is just an introduction to a longer story. I hope so because it is well written and was a great listen to. The narrators Lauren Ezzo and Susannah Jones do a wonderful job.

Good short listen
An entertaining story and short listen for when you want to finish a story same day. I wished it was just a bit longer since the plot was pretty rushed and I’d be interested in knowing what happens next.
