Well written nice story. Characters were nicely developed. I specifically choose these her books because the story is clean.

Not your typical “cozy”

I have been enjoying reading/listening Ellery Adams work. Her characters are often those that are needed to make changes in their lives. This series characters all have needed to move ahead from life changing mistakes they have made in their lives. Each of the characters in this series has needed to start over, Forgive themselves. Learn to trust. Take leaps of faith. Be vulnerable to others and let them in.

A new favorite series

I didn't know how I would feel about a cozy mystery with elements of magical realism, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far and I can't wait to get to the next three. Adam's characters are relatable, entertaining, and the stories are fun to read.

This is a fine series fit for any bibliophile, not just cozy mystery readers. Anyone who loves books and talking about literature will appreciate Nora's skill of finding just the right book for each person, and ponder how those books work into the theme of the story.

Great Mysteries

I love these books. They are very interesting and full of action with just a little romance included , so the focus is mostly on the mystery. Well written and great characters too.....with no one moping around playing the pity party. There is fun and sadness and just great books (1-3). And the narrator does a great job, although when she got to the end, her reading sped up enough that I had to rewind to hear all of the crime details. If there are more books in the series, I plan on reading those too.

Well worth listening too

I was taken to these 3 books, The 4 women help each other out in many different ways. I am looking forward to listening to more of this series.
