As a child of an incarcerated father, Antong Lucky grew up in an impoverished, crime-ridden neighborhood in East Dallas, Texas, born at the same time as East Dallas experienced an alarming rise in crack cocaine and heroin use. Great book
I think this is an amazing book just a small glimpse into the authors life. just amazing to hear the view of a poverty stricken child Who had to learn to pull his way up through the twisted ranks and the mentality that is bestowed on the urban community. If we could just get the youth in every urban community across America to take heed in some of the messages and insight that is dropped in this book and really embrace it we could make a difference in the urban community but I feel this is a great start.
