Wow, this book completely flipped my perspective and has helped me to finally move forward in my journey to be healthy. I encourage you to listen to the whole book, do not think you have to pause and do the work Isabel lays out. You will, eventually, in steps. There's so much to hear, keep listening, bookmark what resonates, and keep listening!! I am losing weight, and feeling relieved and happy! slow and steady, in a way I know I can continue for the rest of my life. SO much more than a diet or weight loss journey. Highly recommend!!!

Freeing

I have listened to this book three or 4 times.
It is never to replace the word of God.
But struggling with self worth and food I am learning to be healthy but set free from the legalism that can come from healthy eating

Favorite book in a long time!

If you haven’t yet, you should either get the physical copy or Audible of Isabel Price’s book, A New Life Promise: How to Heal Your Body, Find Joy, and Bring Glory to God. I just finished listening to it off Audible and it is definitely my favorite book in a long time. It was gentle in its spurring on and refreshing. A definite re-read over and over again.
