Consider the possible Enneagram types of well-known figures in the Bible to discover more about yourself and gain specific wisdom about how and why you are uniquely made.

Who am I? Everyone asks that question, no matter their age or status in life. If we’re truly supposed to be real with others, shouldn’t that start by learning how to be real with ourselves?

The Enneagram describes nine basic personality styles which can help us better understand who we are and what drives us. When God designed you, He did not create you as a number but as a uniquely created individual. Your Enneagram type can give you great insight into the complexities of yourself and others. A Book Called YOU will show you how a biblical view of self-discovery can improve every part of your life, and includes:

  • The potential Enneagram type of well-known biblical figures like Peter, David, Abraham, King Saul, and more
  • The character, core motivation, and core weaknesses of each Enneagram type
  • Advice on how to best love each personality type
  • How to pray specifically for each Enneagram type

Based on his widely successful teaching series "A Series Called You," pastor Matt Brown offers a groundbreaking, entertaining, and heartfelt guide that highlights biblical truths alongside the Enneagram to help us fully embrace who we are and help us love and relate to the people around us.

Amazing deep dive, loved being challenged

Pastor Matt Brown is truly a blessed man from God. I believe in his vision for the church. I can feel the spirit moving with him and Sandals. This book is just a wonderful package of some of the sermons he has given using the enneagram. I could listen to him teach for hours. It was wonderful to have it even read by him through audio. A good book for anyone who is needing a little help in discovering themselves from a biblical perspective.

Humbled and hopeful

I am someone that goes to Sandals church, so I had a little background coming into reading this book, but I was pleasantly engaged and surprised. Matt always does a great job of making me feel like he’s talking to me during his sermons, whether I like it or not. He tells on himself and lets you know that he is human too and he makes mistakes all the time. He does it throughout this book and points out where he comes up short which helps me be more open to accepting my flaws. I am a strong 8 on the enneagram and I am more than fine with that, but as Matt points out with all the personality types, we have unhealthy sides that we need to watch out for. Like he says in the book, if I can find a leader that is worth backing, as an 8 I’m all in and I’ll go to battle for them. I found my Leader in Jesus, and He has given me another tool that I can use to better understand not only myself but my friends, coworkers, and especially my family as well. Thanks for helping me understand a little better Matt and I’m an definitely recommending this book to people I love.

Grace grace!!

I absolutely love this book and will keep it in my library to read again over the years. The eye and heart opening insights into each number from a biblical prospective was so good. It helps me not only understand all parts of myself but have grace and understanding for others

Amazing book that takes the enneagram and simplifies it for anyone to understand.

This book does a great job at breaking down the enneagram in a simple and biblical way. The enneagram is a tool that can be fantastic for personal growth, understanding others, and a great shortcut for those to use in community groups. The book does a good job not putting you in a box but giving you a starting point for understanding how God made you.

Bible + Enneagram = 🔥

Pastor Matt does and amazing job of using characters from the Bible to explain the enneagram types. He then gives us Biblical truth to help you better grow in your walk with Christ using the enneagram as a tool. Jesus is the one who changes us but the enneagram gave me some idea of the ways in which I uniquely needed to change.

So thankful for Pastor Matt introducing my family to the enneagram, it will forever change the way we relate for the better!

Hilarious relative biblical book to better understand yourself

Pastor Matt sets the tone right away for the point of the book, gives real life scenarios and real tangible ways not to change yourself but rather to lean in on your strengths and understand your blind spots. He does it in such a mastermind way that you get sucked into wanting to see the strengths and blind spots of others and by the end of the book he wraps it all up in such a tight bow you are left speechless or laughing out loud… As a 3 I got the book to understand the world around me and master it all, and the and of the book I was laughing out loud ( it will make more sense when u read it) Married to a 6 I beyond related and started being more intentional which the extraness I wanted to throw my spouses way. I love that everything relates back to the Bible, no it’s not some witchcraft nonsense it’s ways to align your best self with serving God. If any of these chapters were preached on and a number wasn’t attached you would be totally ingulfed in the message and walked out fired up, so for anyone questioning it or feeling uneasy I highly recommend getting audible and just listen and mentally block out the number and digest the content. Then go back and read again with the numbers and see it’s just an enhancement to the message to basically personalize it to you and create inclusivity where you feel you are seen.

Bravo Pastor Matt
