Publisher's summary

There are only, in my humble opinion, two kinds of readers: readers who love your books and readers who don’t know they love your books yet. But how do you reach those readers in the second category, no matter what kind of writer you are?

The answer to that question is...universal fantasy.

Universal fantasy is why my sales tripled when I “accidentally” wrote three books that landed in the Amazon Top 100.

Universal fantasy is why some authors get gobs of gushing reviews and some authors who write “way better” get crickets.

Universal fantasy is the answer to many of the questions you might have thought were unanswerable or simply up to luck, like:

  • Will this sell?
  • Why is that selling?
  • Why didn’t this sell?
  • Will readers like what I am writing?
  • Why do I love the TV shows/books/entertainments I do?
  • Why did I buy that thing I bought when I didn’t intend to buy it?

Be warned...once known, universal fantasy cannot be undiscovered. Leave this audiobook be if you’re truly satisfied with your current writing life.

But if you’re not afraid - if you’re ready to know the secret hidden inside all best-selling stories, open this gift and find out how to use universal fantasy to write and market books that sell to anyone.

Wow and Wow! Created an outline for a new novel when listening

This book helped me craft an outline for a new novel that I never would have thought up if I hadn't read this book. Thank you T. Taylor.

Very useful information

Once past the beginning, which came off a bit "salesy," even though it wasn't selling anything, the rest was great! I would actually have liked it to be even more in depth, but I got a lot out of it!

Might’ve convinced me to actually watch Bridgerton

At first I wasn’t sure that I was going to like this book, and I was gearing up to put it in my DNR. Then the author started getting hilarious. So I kept reading. There’s a ton of great and relatable advice. And now as a person who didn’t like Bridgerton when it came out, she might have convinced me to go watch it, not only for research but because I might actually like it.

I Learned Something!!!!

With a book like this, I feel like if I learn something then it is more than worth it. So to that end, this is worth the credit and/or purchase. Here's the thing, it's not like I didn't know what "Universal Fantasy" was per se, it's just that I didn't give it the attention it deserved. So to that end, this book delivers. I also love love love listening to author narrate her book. She's a FANTASTIC narrator and is obviously passionate about this book and what she's trying to teach fellow authors. If I had one wish, I wish there was more "how" and not just "what." I recognize "UF" now and that means a lot. Now I just need to figure out "how" to specifically employ that to help my blurbs, writing, cover, marketing etc... The author does cover that a little bit, but it's kind of glossed over. T. Taylor, might I suggest a follow on book with deep dive examples of how...with maybe some "before and afters" to illustrate the points further.

Wonderfully unexpected

Having never heard of T Taylor before, my games programming/aspiring author friend recommended this book to me. As someone very interesting in both publishing and upping my game master/storytelling skills, I was surprised to find easy to understand, actionable, and unexpected content within. From bluntly stating fresh perspectives to clearly identifying what makes storytelling and reading fun, T Taylor knows exactly what she's talking about and I hope to put 7 Figure Fiction into practice.

So helpful!

Thanks for writing this book; I get it now! I really do! I like how Theodora explains why it’s not enough to just write about character.

Unbelievable!

If you haven’t listen to this book, you need to grab it now! Not only is Theodora Taylor fabulous at narrating her own book. I have never been more drawn to a topic. I think I went and bought seven books after listening just because of the way she described them! She is just absolutely fantastic. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Must Read!

T. Taylor gives plenty of gems for taking your books to the next level. Her personality shines through in the narration. Dopamine, dopamine, dopamine! I will definitely apply some of this wisdom to my next book.
