Classic hard sci-fi book
This is a modern, quintessential hard science fiction book. Did a great job with a realistically possible first contact. My only complaint is that it didn’t go further and wasn’t more challenging, but if you’re interested in hard sci-fi this is a perfect place to start.

A little boring
Some interesting parts but overall just not enough tension, intrigue, action, etc. Kept falling asleep listening... which is never a good sign! Good narration.
