Publisher's summary

In Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas, New York Times best-selling author Emily March presents a brand new arc set in the Lone Star State that features a family-linked trilogy within the author's romantic series.

With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. The last thing he anticipates is tumbling into love.

Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist. Soon she is drawn into the fabric of life in Eternity Springs, and as her spirit begins to heal, her strength returns, and she’s able to go toe-to-toe with this hardheaded, big-hearted Texan. But just when love blooms and happiness is within their grasp, shadows from the past threaten. Hannah and Boone must stand strong and united in order to defeat old ghosts - if they are to create a brand-new life together.

Deep, funny, sexy, unpredictable ... and serenity cabbage

No worries about a bad narrator with this one because Amy Landon is fantastic. This is my favorite book in the McBrides of Texas Eternity Springs series. This is NOT a cheesy cowboy love story. Nothing like Carolyn Brown, who has her place in the hearts of many but I personally like love stories with my depth and romance ... this book is more like Susan Wiggs meets Linda Lael Miller and has a book baby. The story is intriguing, the writing is awesome, the details are accurate and really pull you in, teach you new and interesting things about the world (like a Susan Wiggs book) and the character Boone is a spectacular mixture of successful southern gentlemen, scoundrel & super sexy. (Like a L.L. Miller book). Boone had also got a great sense of humor, a difficult past (wife died, etc) and this book had me laughing and crying at different times. The setting kinda reminds me of Robyn Carr and Virgin River.. I fell in love with small town romances after reading that series. This book in the series isn’t in Texas, it’s setting is the small mountain town of Eternity Springs, but sorry Robyn, Eternity Springs trumps VR in my book.If you go to the authors website you can see a map of the town and all the connections to the stories in the series. Lastly, I love the female lead in this book, Hannah. She’s brave, strong, smart, and all the things I aspire to be myself as a woman. It is awesome seeing her and Boone get the happy ending they both deserve. Listen to this book! You won’t regret it.

Had a good cry!

I love all of Emily’s book and this one no less. The loss in this book with that second chance at love warms my heart. Truly one of my favorites!

Best in the series

I have read every one of the Eternity Springs books and McBrides from Texas in order. Loved them. Boone was the absolute best and great way to end a series.

Slightly over-the-top sweet.

Overcoming tragedy and defining a new future, this book was more sugary than I usually read. Babies, new friends, love, marriage - this is a typical romance in a small town story where everyone is kind to newcomers. I found it hard to listen to the male voices by the performer. Very light spice. Watch out for cavities from all this sugar!
