SKY: CHILD, INTERRUPTED is the story of a little, small town Coastal Maine girl, born very prematurely, almost died, later lived in a homeless shelter, then was UNJUSTLY snatched away by Child Protective Services. I'm her dad and I tell her story in the only way I know how, with blunt piercing honesty, while holding nothing back. My book is a multi-emotional, sexually provocative but NOT YOUR ORDINARY LOVE STORY of our mismatched relationship and our bitter battle with a corrupt, small town Maine, Child Protection agency to regain custody of our daughter, Sky. Many fans are pushing for this book to become a movie. ( Okay ... that's pretty cool, I suppose. ) Written in a format of 46 essayed-styled chapters, and guaranteed you'll find something amusing, interesting or touching in each and every chapter, SKY: CHILD, INTERRUPTED ends with a shocking but moving and bittersweet conclusion that will tug at your heart-strings. ( Whatever ta hell "heart-strings" are ) but anyway. My wife, Rinska is a former NYC erotic dancer with severe anger issues due in part to a sexually abusive childhood, but also has a sweet and touching side that readers fall in Love with. I'm a shy and socially-awkward middle aged man ( if I live to be a hundred and twenty ) with severe Asperger's Syndrome. We meet in a substance abuse rehab where I'm an intern counselor and Rinska resides there as an inpatient. Though strictly forbidden, we fall in Love and Rinska is kicked out. We then shack-up and eventually have a daughter whom we name Sky. The next five years of our lives play out in my book entitled "SKY: CHILD, INTERRUPTED."
