WARD TANNEBERG writes a weekly Internet blog, Perspective, about living, learning and leading in Life’s Third Age (60+) as a follower of Jesus. He has authored several inspirational thriller novels, including Without Warning (orig. September Strike); Vanished (orig. October’s Child); Pursuit; and Redeeming Grace. Other books include the allegory, Seasons of the Spirit; Let Light Shine Out, a History of the Pentecostal Movement in the Pacific Northwest; and Sacred Journey, his wife’s inspiring memoir, framed in her final 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Ward has been in Christian ministry for more than 60 years, beginning as a young evangelist, serving as a denominational youth director, college public relations director, pastor in three churches, lecturer, adjunct professor, writer, novelist, and nonprofit organization executive director. He earned a BA in Bible at Northwest University, completed graduate studies at Western Evangelical Seminary/George Fox and Seattle Pacific University, and has an earned PhD in Theology from California Graduate School of Theology. He also trained in coach/mentoring, and is an alumnus of the Seattle FBI Citizens Academy. Ward continues to speak in churches, adult retreats and ministry conferences. He meets with Christian business leaders, active and retired, in his living room on Wednesday mornings. A widower with 2 married children, 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, he enjoys quiet evenings, being with family, good books and movies, sports, swimming, golf, travel and long walks with his wonder dog GAGE. He lives in the Pacific Northwest.
