Thank you for visiting my Amazon author page! Like many authors, writing is all I’ve ever really wanted to do. When I was a kid, I’d borrow my mum’s typewriter and type out my favourite stories, before moving on to write my own. My first bookish loves were all science-fiction: Doctor Who novelisations and novels by H.G. Wells and John Wyndham – particularly The Day of the Triffids. My own novels include Snakeskins, about people who spontaneously produce clones every seven years, and Hope Island, in which a mother and daughter holidaying on a remote island encounter creepy children. I've also written three Sherlock Holmes novels, including the recent The Twelve Thefts of Christmas. My short stories are included in my first collection, And the House Lights Dim, and several have been selected for various ‘best of’ anthologies. I’ve also written a non-fiction book about a silent crime film called Les Vampires. Thanks again for visiting my page! I hope you enjoy the books.
