Thad Forester was born and raised in Haleyville, AL to Ray and Pat Forester. He is the fourth of five children. "My Brother in Arms" is his first and only book. When his younger brother Mark was KIA in Afghanistan in 2010 he felt a burning desire to first and foremost, preserve his legacy for his family. Secondly, he wanted to share Mark's example of commitment, integrity and patriotism with the world. Thad is married with three sons. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in Production and Operations Management.
