Telia Galloway was born in south Georgia, the second of eventually seven siblings! Her parents became missionaries when she was seven years old, so she actually spent most of her growing up years in Taipei, Taiwan. She became fluent in Mandarin Chinese (verbal, not written) and still retains quite a bit of the language. She lives with her husband Gary, (who, by the way, has the patience of Job!) on the coast of North Carolina, where they are enjoying their "empty nest."
