Susan X Meagher was born in East St Louis, Illinois, an industrial river town in Southern Illinois. She has spent long periods of time in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, the Jersey Shore, and now New York’s Hudson Valley. She lives with her wife and, when she’s lucky, a foster autism service dog in training. Her first few books were posted on the web and eventually became the I Found My Heart in San Francisco series. The series is now 25 books long and is scheduled to wrap up in 2025. In addition to the series, Susan has published over 25 stand-alone novels, as well as three short story collections. All explore the lesbian/sapphic/WLW experience. Traditional romance, friends to lovers, second chance, no strings attached, celebrity, slow burn, age-gap - Susan’s novels cover a wealth of characters and follow their journey to love. Her stories revolve around aspirational relationships that two women can build, and how those relationships can strengthen the individual, the partnership, and their families. Nearly all of Susan’s books are contemporary romances and she believes strongly in the happy ending that we all deserve.
