I was born in 1992 in Alaska, was home schooled, got my GED in the top 2% and now have a college degree in Aviation Maintenance. Reading was always a passion, but then again, there was the summer when mom said I had to write a book report on every book that I read. Nasty business that one book report. I never envisioned myself as a published author, not even when I picked it up to stave off an early demise induced by boredom. I like watching people. I find it difficult to interact with these same people until I have been able to observe them for a sufficient period of time. For me, writing is just another way to watch people. Writing can be so many things. Elegant, poetic, a portal to worlds unknown, uplifting, and sobering. Words can paint a picture and give life to it that no oil or water color can convey. There is always a different way that any one thing can be said and often a better way. Speech doesn't permit that depth of thought. I am a writer. I find that my art is with words. I am not the best. I am not the worst. I am what I am. Pick up a book and perhaps, just perhaps, you might meet the author and see their soul in the telling. A fragment in every character that walks the story, the voice that tells the story, or the soul of the story itself.
