Hi, I am S. A. Stolinsky, an actress and clinical/forensic psychologist. I have been writing since childhood, and received a prize in the San Francisco Examiner for a short story. I got sidetracked into acting, but when I wrote my non-fiction book, "ACT IT OUT: 25 Acting Exercises to Heal from Childhood Abuse," New Harbinger Publications, Inc., with the exercises demonstrated on YouTube, I decided to return to my first love and wrote the short stories THE EXECUTIONER and SOMEBODY ATE MY DOG. Good Guy Publishing was kind enough to give me two awards for those stories and fueled my excitement to write novels. My books, COUNTERFEIT LOTTERY and DATE NIGHT are comedy/fiction and I hope you enjoy them. Counterfeit Lottery has Lily Handy, an ex-actress and amateur sleuth solve cases the cops can not, by accident, using her acting class talents. Date Night is a compilation of short stories. HOT SHOT tells of the story of Tyler West, a gambler who finally makes it to the World Series of Poker, but only after assisting the FBI in uncovering another money laundry, Ponzi scheme. My newest comedy/mystery, WOE IN WEYBURN just launched on Jan. 6, 2020 and is set in Weyburn, Massachusetts where crime scene photographer, Meggie Monahan, a 30-ish divorcee is trying to get a second chance to live her life, do things better, get them right and in solving a money-laundry crime, she also realizes it was a personal vendetta. I was born and raised in San Francisco and currently live with my husband, a retired oncologist/hematologist in Los Angeles where I enjoy travel, movies, hiking, and work-out.
