Rosemary Shaw is a herbalist and the author of Herbal Remedies for Sleep. Her journey towards natural healing began over 30 years ago when her mother showed her how to use a dock leaf to soothe a nettle sting. This sparked a desire to learn and explore, and her work funnels the wisdom she’s acquired into clear guidance to help others understand the uses and effects of herbal remedies. Rosemary’s passion for herbal medicine began long ago with a dock leaf, but she didn’t fully embrace the journey until her own body began letting her down. Plagued by aches and pains, insomnia, and bloating, she threw herself into her research and began to understand the full potential of herbal medicine. Having returned her own body to a state of balance, she continued to research and study, applying her knowledge to her practice, and acquiring a passion for helping others realize the potential of the natural world. Rosemary is a mother of three and has four grandchildren, to whom she loves to pass on nuggets of wisdom, much the way her own mother did for her. She is a passionate gardener and grows many of the herbs she uses medicinally herself. She has a keen interest in photography and is currently exploring ways she can combine this with her passion for natural medicine.
