Robby was born in Dayton, Ohio, but was blessed to grow up and live in a tiny little town in the interior of Alaska called Tok, for 21 years. He grew up living a very adventurous life and got to experience many wild and exciting expeditions out into the rough and rugged wilderness of Alaska, hunting moose, caribou, and bears regularly, also taking every opportunity he had to go fishing for grayling, rainbow trout, lake trout, pike, halibut, and all different types of species of salmon, all alongside his wonderful, loving, and caring family. When he was 24 years old, he was involved in an ATV accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. It has been a little over 11 years since his accident and even though he cannot move anymore, he still believes that God has truly blessed him with an amazing and wonderful life. He has had nothing but tremendous support, strength, encouragement, and care from his incredibly loving family, and the fact that he is severely paralyzed has not slowed him down at all. They still continue to journey out on many wild and exciting adventures together, creating some incredible memories along the way, which he shares about in very vivid detail in his book. along with the out of body near-death experience he had after the accident… at The Gates of Heaven. Because Robby lived in such a remote rural area in the interior of Alaska where there is very limited access to the proper medical facilities he needs in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle, he and his family have made their way back to Ohio and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside near the historical little village of Waynesville, which is not only known as the antiques capital of the Midwest but was also named one of the most walkable towns in America by USA Today. Robby hopes to inspire and motivate as many people as possible by sharing his story, and still lives life to the fullest every day. He has always had a great outlook on life and is well known for his love and passion for music, as well as his great sense of humor, so nowadays he enjoys writing parodies about his crazy Alaskan cripple life to some of his favorite songs and has even teamed up with a very close friend he met while receiving physical therapy to form The Cripple Creek Band. They have written some original songs as well, and even though only 2% of people with a spinal cord injury as high as his can breathe on their own without the help of a ventilator and his diaphragm does not work anymore, Robby does his best to have fun and gives it his all while trying to sing his songs just to put a smile on people's faces. He is currently working on a self-produced album but hopes that one day a record label might notice his unique situation and see the potential he has to inspire people and make them laugh.
