Rob “Chief” Roy, is a 25-year veteran of the US Navy. He was an active member of the SEAL teams for 21-years. Rob served for more than 10-years on the famed SEAL Team Six; Anti-terrorism, maritime interdiction unit which served as one of the US Government’s key devices in the Global War On Terror (GWOT).  Rob served as a Leading Chief Petty Officer for the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Motivators.  He recruited, developed, and maturated more than 500 future SEALs.  Rob toured with many operational units including the US Army Special Forces, the CIA and US Customs before his retirement from the Navy in 2005. After retiring from the Navy, he embraced his entrepreneurial spirit and founded the SOT-G. Its mission;  Provide effective and efficient Leadership solutions that enable clients to operate safely in challenging environments. In 2007, he served as a resource for the Young President Organization. He developed the Leadership Under Fire program which received the YPO-WPO BEST of the BEST award four out of seven years and averaged a rating of 9.7. Rob has made guest appearances on Bloomberg TV, Fox News, and NBC. He can be viewed in the Business Insider, The Street.com, and Inc. He is the author of two books - Leadership Lesson of the Navy SEALs The Art of War and soon to be released, The Subdued Trident: Journey of the Invisible Warrior. In 2013 Rob followed his warriors heart and travel to South Africa to combat the extinction of the Rhino population by poachers, the teams efforts were document on the Animal Planet network. Rob and his team were instrumental in reducing this global threat of extinction In 2014, he received an induction into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame where he was recognized by the World Wide Martial Arts Council (WWMAC) for his significant impacts in the community. In 2016, he will offer the Art of Warrior Leadership Summit in select cities around the United States. Rob's accolades include accomplished military veteran, businessman, actor and public speaker. He uses his knowledge and experience to help transform the lives of men and women through training, seminars and speaking engagements across the nation. His clients continually employ him for his unique combination of real-life field skills and professional and cooperative partnership approach. He infuses his unique vision and perspective into every project he does.
