Richard Schenkman is an award-winning filmmaker whose movies include "The Pompatus of Love", "Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five", "Mischief Night", "Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies", and the internationally acclaimed "Jerome Bixby's The Man From Earth". He proudly wrote and directed the perennial holiday favorite, "A Diva's Christmas Carol" starring Vanessa Williams as Ebony Scrooge and Kathy Griffin as the Ghost of Christmas Past. His first "real job" was sweeping up popcorn in a movie theatre; he has since worked for NBC, MTV, Nickelodeon, and many other networks. He has written extensively about cinema, taught writing & directing, and published a fanzine about James Bond 007 confusing named Bondage. He also published one of the very first graphic novels, "The Illustrated James Bond". He lives in Los Angeles with his daughter and a cat.
