For over a decade, I've been at the helm of For the Philanthropist, LLC, working with organizations from Austin, Tx Hill Country, and beyond, helping them get to a place of sustainability. I'm no ordinary consultant. I use a holistic approach that focuses on capacity building, looking at every part that makes up an organization. With my recent training in the nonprofit lifecycle approach, I've also started helping organizations with diagnosing the different pillars that give strength to an organization to ensure that they are strong in all areas. My journey started as a fundraiser. While working on my post-graduate degree in Public Administration, I realized that it wasn't just about money. Sure, money is essential, and I believe everyone should get paid generously according to the value they provide. But the real game-changer is the ability to show social value through meaningful data. Proving the lives, you're improving paves the way for financial sustainability. I also lend my knowledge to donors and funders, helping manage their community investments through grants, scholarships, or impact investing. I can guide you right from the inception of creating a giving program to supporting a giving entity with due diligence or even serving as a Point of Contact. But it's not all work for me. I'm a wellness enthusiast, living an Ayurvedic lifestyle and a certified Spin & Yoga instructor. When I'm not consulting or on the yoga mat, you might find me working on my affordable housing project in the Texas Hill Country, using repurposed materials. My passion for creating sustainable organizations and fostering social value has led me to pour my experience and knowledge into a book, "The Nonprofit Workbook: Tips & Best Practices for Start-Ups Serving the Greater Common Good".
