The Rev. Peter K. Stimpson is an Episcopal priest, a licensed clinical social worker, and retired in 2014 after 25 years as Director of Trinity Counseling Service in Princeton, New Jersey. He has counseled people from all walks of life since 1972, wrote a popular advice column from 1983-2014, and has served as a consultant to 9 bishops over his career. His first book, Map to Happiness, published in 2008, reveals three principles that lead to happiness, and then offers straightforward advice on everyday issues, such as marriage, parenting, communication, depression, stress, and many more. A Kirkus review in 2016 offered praise, noting that "such clear-eyed guidance may be a potent inspiration for readers' further personal growth". His second book, A Bridge to God, published in 2018, answers questions that have caused people to lose their faith, such as: Does God Exist? Why does God allow Suffering? Why do bad things happen to good people? Is their Life after Death?
