In fact, behind Brendt & Brendt are two writers hidden. Peter Brendt, a little bit of a veteran from the German book market and Diane Brendt, his wife and collaborator in a number of books and now also working on own novels. Of course, more about us, readers can find out on our website BrendtAndBrendt.com. So, here are only the shorts: Diane Brendt: born in 1964 in the midwest, she is a real child of the U.S. heartland, where she spent most of her life. The origins of her writing are in the romance genre, but the scope widened quickly. She is not yet published (but collaborated with Peter in some of his book projects for Germany). A DEAL IN FLESH, the current project both write together, and a fantasy, she works on her own, keep her busy at the moment. Otherwise, when it comes to reasearch, Diane is the heart of the operation. Peter Brendt: also born in 1964, he joined the German Navy after Abitur (which is equivalent to high school graduation) training as a navigator and later as weapon diver. Terms of service were predominantly spent in NATO commands. Following his resignation from the Navy, he studied business and computer sciences. Various software projects in the field of medical technologies followed after some years by promotion into management positions in international projects. Since 2005, Brendt earns his living as full time author, he is married (obviously) and lives in the U.S. with his wife, writer Diane Brendt. Peter as of yet wrote in German and is published in Germany and Japan. His first manuscript completely in English, INSIDE MIND is just finished and will be available in Summer of 2011 from Aaronis Collection via Amazon (in print) and direct with Amazon (for Kindle).
