Onyinye Ibelegbu is an experienced Igbo language Teacher, Translator and the CEO of NwaadaIgbo, a platform which redefines Igbo Language learning by providing one on one classes, online courses and daily Igbo language learning tips. Having observed the growing number of learners of Igbo as a second language and the gap in learning resources to meet this demand, she started NwaadaIgbo to provide support in form of detailed and simplified resources, ensuring effective learning at the learner’s convenience. Onyinye is also the instructor of the Complete Igbo Course on Udemy.com, and believes that teaching Igbo as a second language should be done systematically from the bottom up: starting from the basics and progressing upwards. This ‘Bottom up’ approach has led to a remarkable increase in proficiency for learners impacted by NwaadaIgbo platform, who span across different age groups and countries.
