Mistie Cogdill is a writer, teacher, workshop instructor, and travel enthusiast. With a background in theatre, Mistie has always been exceptional at creating drama, a skill that carries over brilliantly in her writing. Mistie graduated from Wayland Baptist University where she studied English. In 2017, she founded and continues to organize the annual Canadian River Valley Writer’s Workshop. She’s a member and director of the Texas High Plains Writers Association. She’s also a life-long voracious reader, who’s a little obsessed with books, most notably the Outlander and Harry Potter series. Her other interests include gardening, beaches, and day drinking. She’s a native Texan, where she lives with her hot-nerd of a husband, three beautiful teenage daughters, and two spoiled fur-babies.
