About the Author Michael Imler has traveled to 35 of the 50 US states and has lived in many of them during various job assignments. He spent the bulk of his life in Michigan until his children grew up and moved out on their own. He and his wife Ginger moved to Oklahoma to find comfort in the warmer climates. He and Ginger still play pool recreationally in some leagues and get in an occasional tournament, but he rarely gambles anymore on the game. He still enjoys watching and teaching other pool players who seek advice. The author is an accomplished writer with several other publications that are listed on Amazon. He was a Staff writer for Pool & Billiards Magazine in 1997 but eventually had to give it up due to the burden of traveling a lot for work. There are multiple videos available to watch on YouTube featuring the author including some break and run videos in case you would like to see that the writer actually play the game a little and not just write about it. If you care to see some just do a Google search for Imler break and run and several videos should pop up. There is also a couple of videos featuring his wife Ginger competing in the Oklahoma State Women’s Master’s BCA Championship that she won. The author also made a video on how to make a Valley or Dynamo Pool table play like a Diamond Pool table that has been viewed many thousands of times and may be useful to folks that do not want to or who can’t afford to pay $5000 plus for a pool table. For those interested in other Gambling, he has also posted hundreds of slot machine videos featuring Jackpots and nice wins he’s won at casinos around the country. To see some of those check out the YouTube Channel Buzzard Slots which is FREE to subscribe to. The main reason the author writes these books is because he noticed that there is not an abundance of fun stories related to pool players available on the market and decided to provide something new for the many hustlers, gamblers, and league players to read or listen to on audiobook. Much of what is written is based on actual experiences while other parts were completely fabricated for your entertainment.
