I am Michael C C Adams. I am best known for my work on the American Civil War and WWII. I won a book prize for my analysis of Civil War generalship, and have spoken at Gettysburg four times. My WWII book, The Best War Ever, is considered a classic and is in use in classrooms across America. It's also a good read for the history buff who just enjoys delving into the past. I have now branched out into historical fiction, which I write under the pen name of Colin MacIver. I recently published a novel about a spy in the 1745 Scottish rebellion whose code name was Pickle. If you are interested in this period, if your family came to America in the aftermath of Bonnie Prince Chatlie's failed rebellion, this may ne a an adventure through history that you don't want to miss.
