Marc Liebman is a retired U.S. Navy Captain and Naval Aviator who is a combat veteran of Vietnam, the tanker wars of the 1980s and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He retired as a Captain after 26 years in the Navy and a career that took him all over the world. Marc has worked with the armed forces of Australia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Republic of Korea, the Philippines and the U.K. He has just under 6,000 hours of pilot-in-command/co-pilot flight time in a variety of tactical military, civilian fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He was also a Managing Director in two consulting firms and the CEO of a small aerospace company. He is the author of the award winning, seven book Josh Haman Series that follows a young Naval Aviator and helicopter pilot from his first tour in Vietnam to a senior staff position in 1996 trying to prevent World War III from starting. Marc also has an Age of Sail series that takes place during the American Revolution and the years that followed. It features a Continental Navy and Royal Navy officers whose careers intertwine. The first three books - Raider of the Scottish Coast, Carronade, Death of a Lady have been published and more in this series are coming. His third series features counterterrorism plots. The first three - Flight of the Pawnee, Failure to Fire and Insidious Dragon - feature Derek Almer as the main character. There are more counterterrorism novels coming. In addition, he has written an Age of Sail Novel - Raider of the Scottish Coast - and started another series with Flight of The Pawnee which features Derek Almer.
