Biography, About the Author: Konrad Ventana (literally, "Bold Counsel through a Window") is the literary pseudonym for an American author, scientist, and visionary of international renown -- an award-wining university professor and research director; inventor of medical nanotechnologies, genetic medicines, and new treatments for cancer. This distinguished author/professor has real-world experience with both the intellectual challenges and the social adversities one encounters when aspiring to accomplish something that has never been accomplished before. Through the "bold and perspicuous windows" of his award-winning novels, Konrad Ventana throws back the curtains of conformity, looks critically at the ideologies of our postmodern times, and examines the potential for future development. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Konrad Ventana's Post-Lux Trilogy is written in an artful attempt to reveal, to affirm, and to communicate the vital principles of Creativity and Achievement to a new generation of aspiring individuals through the protected venue of literary fiction. Each book of the Post-Lux Trilogy is independent and distinct: each gripping drama represents a distinctly different theme, hero, narrative voice, and facet of the monumental issues at hand. Written in a "symphonic style," each one of these novels is accessible to casual readers as a good read; it is rewarding to metaphorically astute readers, as is the richness of allegory; it is sumptuously arrayed as a moveable feast for the literary cognoscenti who tend to savor every crumb. Book 1, A Desperado's Daily Bread; Book 2, The Unbearable Sadness of Zilch; Book 3, Questing for UberJoy. Latest Release: Rise, Rise Dark Horses of American Noir, a postmodern mystery story that artfully exposes institutional crimes of the past century. Publisher's Kudos include Editor's Choice designation and Rising Star ranking.
