I think of myself as an “accidental author” because writing novels was not something I considered until 2004. Accidental because I was 58 years old when I took that step. It wasn’t that I had never written anything - it was a job requirement for many years. But proposals, advertising, brochures and business plans hardly resemble a work of fiction. Accidental because the last English class I ever had was in 1965. Fast forward and I have published 13 books and written a total of nineteen. Here is my true confession - I am merely telling my character’s story and one of the biggest challenges is to stay out of their way. So, I invite you to gauge for yourself. By lots of my books and see if, by accident, you like that experience.
