Janet Swan is an author, retired compliance manager, mother, grandmother, and animal and nature enthusiast. Janet has a vivid imagination and loves to tell stories. She has a natural psychic ability, and sometimes her stories are formed by dreams or communication with the other side. She’s drawn to write science fiction and fantasy, and the characters in her books spring to life on the pages of her books. She envisions living in a world of her characters, but the reality of life pulls her back to life in beautiful South Carolina. Janet is the mother of one daughter and grandmother of two lively little boys. Janet lives with her Chihuahua, Harris. She is an avid gardener and animal lover and has a particular fondness for owls, birds, bats, frogs, and butterflies. Her garden includes milkweed, which is a plant required by the Monarch butterfly to lay its eggs. Las Vegas is her favorite place to visit in the US, and she loves playing three card poker and the new high card flush game. Janet was born in Idaho but has lived in many states, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada. Imprint is her first published novel and is the first book in a series.
