I am a fiction author who publishes under the name J. D. Brubaker. I am also a poet who publishes under Riley Danvers and R.J.D.D. I am a bisexual writer living in Portland, Oregon. I have an A.S. in English, a B.A. in English Literature and Writing, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, and I am currently working on my M.A. in Literature. I've been writing since I was in the third grade, but it wasn't until 2014 that I really became serious about pursuing my craft. I have studied and practiced and read widely, and now I am fulfilling my lifelong dream of publishing my work! I have a cat named Lester and a corgi named Kiki who are my fur babies and I love them tremendously. My favorite food is Mexican (specifically street tacos). My favorite movie of all time is Birds of Prey. My favorite color is green. My favorite book of all time is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
