GARY HANSEN is a product of the west. He wrote WET DESERT while living in Mission Viejo, California where he worked as an electrical engineer for twenty-years and often visited the Colorado River on weekends. Gary is an avid outdoorsman and loves water-skiing, snow skiing, dirt biking, hiking, and camping. He is an emeritus SCUBA Instructor, and has dived at locations all over the world. Gary was raised on a dairy farm in Cache Valley, Utah, in the small town of Trenton (pop. 450). He is a graduate of Utah State University (B.S.E.E.) and Pepperdine University (M.B.A.). He returned to Utah and lives in Kaysville. He and his wife Becca have four children. Stay tuned for Gary's next book, The SECOND REVOLUTION, that is launching soon.
