I've been around the women’s hair market for over ten years. In fact, my wife Sonia has owned Sonia Hair Braiding and Beauty Shop since 2008. Sonia does all kinds of hair. Her customers range from five-year old to folks over sixty-five and include women and men from a variety of ethnicity and, therefore, a variety of hair types. Per my experiences, women’s hair has been a defining part of who they are. It is their crowning glory and can help them feel better about themselves even if the whole world is falling apart around them. It's their life. Hair can change women’s look and life so much. This exposure on hair pushed me to conduct a study on hair styles, more specifically, why women decide to wear wigs, extensions, and weaves. My research proves that hair is impacted by culture, health, the work place, demographics, social media, and the fast-paced world we are living in. I love and embraces other culture through working, cooking and networking. "It's Not Only About The Look: WOMEN’S LOVE OF HAIR MAY NEVER BE FULLY UNDERSTOOD" is my second book. I am currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana with my wife and children and working on my third book.
