Erin is definitely a glass half full type of woman. She grew up like many in a dysfunctional home with a father that drank too much but loved her, and a battered mother who did not know how to show love to her children. It was a complicated life, growing up loving the man who beat her mother. Her beloved father died when she was 18 years old, and not long after she developed agoraphobia that led her through her 20s virtually trapped in her own home. But she managed to overcome panic, anxiety and depression to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life despite those years.
