E. Cory Sexton has been the Pastor at Hoschton Baptist Church in Hoschton, Georgia since 2012. Under his leadership the church has experienced growth in several key areas. During his tenure HBC has moved three times eventually purchasing 30 acres and completing several building projects. Foundationally, fundamentally, functionally, and financially strong the church seeks to win West Jackson County for the Lord. HBC is Christ centered, biblically grounded, and discipleship oriented. Pastor Sexton enjoys his ministry especially reading and preparing sermons. His hobbies are hunting, watching football, and anything that includes time with his family. He and his wife Karla have been married for 32 years. They have two children. Kayla, 29, is married to Alex and is the mother of their only granddaughter Emma (Coralie). Carter, 24, is engaged and will soon be married. All are close and each consider HBC to be their home church.
